Facebook Connect on Digg

Facebook Connect NOW Live! Your Facebook Friends Can Now Digg You all the way to the Front page of Digg

Facebook Connect is now Live PLUS Facebook Connect and Digg are hooked up. Facebook friends are now Digg friends too. This is going to make your Facebook friends list portable to Digg and sites like ESPN and CBS media.

You will be able to log into Digg with Facebook credentials.

Every Facebook user will be able to Digg your submissions.

Heck ANY Facebooker can Digg your stuff.

If they have a Facebook account they now have a Digg account already and waiting.

You can leverage your Facebook friends against the big Diggers and come out on top.

You can’t log into Digg yet with your Facebook ID but you will any minute.

What does this mean to you and your business and blog?

I tell exactly how and why this will bring visitors AND profits here in a brand new Facebook Digg walk thru.

So will I be able to log in to Digg with my Facebook id that has been banned on Digg?

@Don Draper, Great idea Don, that would be cool if Facebook connect on Digg would bring back Digg banned profiles. Yeah, you, me, John, SexySocialMarketing and Zaibatsu can all hang out together on Digg.

YES! Now you can get LtDraper back and the ChrisLang profile on Digg will ride again!

You know, back then I was such a newbie that it is a good thing that account was deleted. That was where I noticed the more I shouted my Digg stories from my domain the more I started seeing my overall search engine rankings sink.

Yeah, I have been kicked off Digg A LOT! But it was getting kicked off Digg 4 TIMES that showed us exactly at what point you can push just too far and pop up red flags at Digg.

It was John Carlton that taught me that getting kicked out of applications, getting returns on your products and unsubscribes from your newsletter are positive indicators. Because if you are not going too far, you are not pushing the buttons that make people subscribe to your autoresponder and buy your products.

If you are not pushing the envelope at Digg and Google, if you are not going to the edge where few go and there is no competition, how can you know where the edge is and advise others not to go over the edge and fall off?

If I tell you something works and is whitehat I know because I went beyond that and entered the blackhat side and lost money and Google rankings. But not for client sites or my readers and buyers. What they get is leading edge and NOT going to hurt them. Why is anything we charge for our products fair and more than a bargain? Because we hurt our own commercial sites by teetering on that edge and finding out where it ends…

If anyone advises you to “forget about Google” and go for tactics that will “bring you loads of traffic” it is because these are blackhat tactics that will hurt your site. Why would you want to do things that get your domain banned from Google. That makes the site worthless when it comes to any links it passes on and can actually be a negative indicator to Google.

Ask your self this: Would you want to link to, or get links from a site that Google has banned?

Well I managed to link my Digg and Facebook accounts, found an application for digg on facebook but can’t get it to show on my FB profile and there does not seem to be any feed of my last five diggs on my profile, that I can see anyway.. I hope this all works good soon because it is a great idea.

Anyone else got this to work fully yet on FB?
